Xiaomi has made quite a name for themselves since their entry into the consumer smartphone market with an extensive range of premium devices offered by the company at incredibly affordable prices. Along with all their low priced devices, the Chinese company has also been in the news owing to their premium flagship Mi series of smartphones which have given quite stiff competition to the other flagships from the tech giants. Now, the latest upcoming edition from Xiaomi, the Mi 6 has been a topic of considerable discussion with many tech enthusiasts assuming that the forthcoming device from the Chinese company is going to feature major technological changes from its predecessor.
More Power: An Upgraded Chipset and Longer Battery Life
The performance of smartphones today is a direct reflection of the chipset incorporated inside. The Xiaomi Mi 5 featured Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor while the Mi 5s had the 821, which both accounted for the fast optimum performance of the device. The all new Mi 6 is pegged to surface with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which was launched by Qualcomm in collaboration with Samsung at the CES 2017 event earlier this month. According to the chipset manufacturers, the new fabrication process makes the chipset up to 30 percent more efficient while offering performance improvement of 27 percent.
Qualcomm also claims that the 10nm Snapdragon 835 will provide 40% more battery backup, which means higher battery backup irrespective of the size or density of the battery. Devices which will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 will also be enabled with Qualcomm’s Quickcharge 4.0 feature which optimises battery charging quite substantially. The feature is 20% faster and 30% more power efficient than Quick Charge 3.0. For a user, this means five hours of battery backup on five minutes of charge. Qualcomm says that the Quick Charge 4.0 can charge a nil-charged battery up to 50% in just 15 minutes via USB Type-C based adapters.
A Camera To Rival The Big Flagships
Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus was the first device to sport a dual-lens camera setup back in September 2016 and since then, all the major tech companies have started on incorporating the same in their devices. The Mi 5’s camera has been a topic of positive acclaim for the company with many users showering praise for the mid-range DSLR-like picture quality offered by the device.
The Xiaomi Mi6 is slated to include a Sony-manufactured dual-lens set up comprising of a 12MP wide-angle lens and 12MP telephoto lens with the f/2.8 aperture to bring over optical zoom with phase detection autofocus, OIS and quad-LED (dual tone) flash. The camera features would most probably include geo-tagging, simultaneous 4K video and 8MP image recording, touch focus, face/smile detection and HDR (photo/panorama) among others. The smartphone is also pegged to feature a 7MP f/2.2, 32mm front shooters capable of recording video at 1080p@30fps, 720p@240fps along with face detection, HDR and panorama features.
We’ve heard about the iPhone 7 enough already and with the time of its launch coming closer, here we bring to you some more of what we hear latest!
iPhone 7 shall be priced the same as that of iPhone 6S
The cost of iPhone 7 is almost the same as that of the previous model and going by that logic, the iPhone 7 shall be priced as equal to the current price of iPhone 6s. The iPhone 7 will therefore cost around £539/$649 for the base model while the one with maximum memory and it’s elite model can range up to 699/$849.
iPhone 7 will have iOS 10
Well, new iPhone brings with itself a new iOS and so with the iPhone 7 we can expect the current iOS 9.3 to change into an iOS 10.
A sleeker design?
This might contradict a lot of other news we’ve heard about the iPhone 7 sporting a design similar to that of the iPhone 6. From what we now hear, the iPhone 7 will have a new design in the matter that no more of antenna bands at the back and the removal of the headphone jack. That is what will make iPhone 7 an mm slimmer than the iPhone 6.
A sharper iPhone 7 with no bezel
The iPhone 6s has no 1080p resolution and most iPhones sport a 4k QHD screen. Going by that, the iPhone 7 might take up to an AMOLED 4k display and with iPhone 7 it shall go back to a glass on glass screen. Now that shall bring out a better resolution and also sport a bezel less display.
A bigger battery
The iPhone 7 is going to sport a bigger battery and it shall depend upon the model you buy since only upon the features will the battery interdepend. iPhone 7 will have a 1735 mAh capacity, and the iPhone 7 Plus will have a 2810 mAh capacity. That is only a slightly higher than what we have seen, since the iPhone 6S has a 1715mAh battery while the iPhone 6S Plus encompasses a 2750mAh battery.
Apple is going to have alot of newness added to this device from what we hear. Be it the wireless charging which Apple has been for long talking about or the finger print and IRIS scanning technology that has now for long been in the testing phase. Also, the iPhone 7 PRO could as well have a dual lens camera which will make it worth all the money and give DSRL feels!
Online shopping has become very popular in a very short span of time. Everything has been made available on just a few clicks away from the customer resulting in a good bond between the company and the customer. Also, this has improved the service of the companies and has developed customer’s trust on online shopping.
In this article we’ll be discussing about two major online shopping portals namely as Amazon and Flipkart. Though both the off the online shopping portals have a good range of all sort of goods that any person may need in daily life. We are going to to compare all the features of of these two giants of Indian online market, like service, comparison between Flipkart customer care and Amazon customer support.
Brand products availability: comparing both the online shopping portals on the basis of brand products availability, both the websites provide their users a good range of brand products. However, Flipkart is ahead in the race by providing its users all the top brand products very easily while Amazon also has the brand products but the count is lacking as compared to Flipkart.
Service: Service is one of the major parameter for any online shopping portal to become popular and infact the first choice amongst the people. On this parameter, again Flipkart beats amazon. Flipkart delivers all the orders to its customers on time and sometimes before time while amazon’s delivery has been noticed with little bit delay of 1 or 2 days from the expected delivery time of amazon itself and the worst part is that sometimes the product doesn’t get delivered and it gets cancelled automatically. Also, in some of the cities there is no service provided by Amazon thus the either has to change the delivery address to the addresswhere the delivery service of Amazon is available or customer has to buy the same product from any other shopping portal/ website. So, Flipkart wins the race on this parameter.
Customer’s Review: another important factor for an online shopping portal o website is the customer’s reviews and satisfaction. This factor is important for both kind of shopping i.e. online and offline as the customer’s satisfaction results in a good feedback or review of the customer for the company, service provider, shop or the online shopping portal. Comparing Amazon customer care and Flipkart on this parameter, Flipkart again stands ahead of Amazon.
Price: On the platform of price comparison for the same product on Flipkart and Amazon, customer’s review is to prefer Flipkart over Amazon however there is not a big difference the prices charged by Amazon and Flipkart rather the difference doesn’t exceed 100-200/- rupees.
Offers & Discounts: Offers and discounts is the first priority of every customer no matter he/ she is shopping online of offline. Thus, any shopping portal or website that provides better offers and discounts to its customers is more popular and successful to amongst users/ customers. For this factor, again Flipkart suits perfectly in this category.
Conclusion: based on the above discussion, observing bot the shopping portals/ websites Flipkart fits the best on all the above mentioned parameters and thus we may conclude the article herein saying to prefer Flipkart over Amazon for shopping any product.
